CHALLENGE:

Jazmin was looking for opportunities within the modeling industry. She had hit a dead end with her local modeling agencies because her look was “So Unique” (Red-headed- Latina) agencies in her area didn’t know what to do with her and she was looking for opportunities where her uniqueness would be an asset, not a hindrance.

OUTCOME:

  • AXS provided Jazmin with leads to get featured in the New York Fashion Week runway show in addition to other high-profile fashion events during Fashion Week.

  • Jazmin worked with AXS on the AXS: Fashion project which provides aspiring designers and models an opportunity to participate in a fashion show in New York City during Fashion Week.

  • Jazmine was awarded top teen model of the year in a regional “Teen Magazine”.

  • Jazmin is still modeling today and supplements her income with modeling shoots and wedding dress modeling shoots for the Latina wedding and Quince industry.

NOW:

Jazmin continues to model around the world and is excited that her chosen career is now able to support her and her mother financially.
